Sypnosis: He’s spent years as a hunter, but now he’s the one ensnared in a creature’s trap.
Ketahn did not want a mate. Fate has a different plan for him. When the queen he despises declares her intention to claim him, he retreats into the jungle.
What he finds there changes his world.
Small, delicate, and pale skinned, Ivy Foster is nothing like the females Ketahn has known. She’s not of his kind at all. Yet the moment he sees her, he knows the truth in his soul—she is his heartsthread.
And now that he has her, he won’t let anything take her away. Not the jungle, not the gods, not the queen.
Whether Ivy agrees or not, their webs are entangled. No one will ever sever those threads.

Book 1 of 3 in The Spider's Mate Trilogy.
Review: A long time ago I would have been scratching my head and wondering why I even bothered to pick this book up.
That was before I discovered anime and manga and dived deeply into the hentai and erotica genres. So none of this has surprised me anymore. LOL
But I decided to pick this one with the hopes of enjoying something entirely different when it comes to bodice-rippin' cliche and I was not disappointed by this one at all. Set in a world apart from ours where creatures such as human-like spiders roam a planet. Our FL comes here in the crashed ship during her sleep. The ML finds her and takes her away. I really enjoyed the romance-building between them because it did not feel rushed but more....natural. Most of these type of stories usually have either the insta-love or forced love, especially in mangas and manhuas. I had since learned to leave my brain at the door when reading them.
This one was different and I really enjoyed this one immensely. I have already started looking for the second and third books and plan to read these once I have most of TBR finished.
