I’m ready for the chaos of Texas to be a speck in my rearview mirror.
So when the museum director throws me a bone by arranging for us to visit a fossil dig in Utah, I jump at the opportunity.

I need a breather from all the craziness that has become my life since waking multiple dino shifters. A dig in Utah sounds like exactly what I need, the perfect getaway. As long as I stay away from any dino shifter bones… other than in the bedroom, of course.

The first surprise was the primitive campsite. These cabins don’t even have running water. Oof.
The second surprise was being chased through the woods by someone—or something. Gulp.
The third? Well, let’s just say my attacker was more than a little freaked out when we tumbled into a pit and he came face-to-face with a brontosaurus. Surprise, mother-clucker!

You would have thought dealing with a newly awakened shifter, and working through things with Albert would have been enough drama for one vacation. But someone is stealing from the dig site, and suspicion falls on everyone in the campsite… including my mates, Suli, and me.

My mates create a security detail to unravel the mystery, while I spend my time learning how to control my magic. I absolutely suck at it, but don’t judge me! It’s just really tough, okay?

How’s a girl supposed to manage four dinosaur shifters, a sexy detective on high alert, and Albert Einswine, who continues to cause endless mischief and chaos?

I’ll tell you how—with lots of coffee, no sleep, and a possibly a slight detour into madness. Ignore the evil maniacal laughter. Maybe I’ll feel better after a nap.

Review:

I love it when a series flows from one book to the other without breaking a sweat and this series does that. Sass, corny chapter jokes, and the characters continue to flourish through each book that it takes hold of the reader and has them eager for the next book, the next laugh, and the next storyline to pull them to the last page.

Arizona has been through a traumatic experience from the last book and there was a revelation that came along with it, but none of her mates are aware of it. So, when Arizona and her mates are given a chance to take a breather and attend a dig campsite. Sprinkle in flying pigs and a brand new dinosaur and you have a recipe for hilarity and spice.

This series continues to be a fun addition and I love that we are seeing new additions to Arizona's harem. Pretty soon that girl is going to have to buy an entire castle just to have a large wing for her men. LOL

In all seriousness, I am glad we did get more of Albert. I would, however, like to know more of his backstory and why the dinos are all afraid/wary of him. I am aware they call him a demon and he has come out and said he is not at all good but what I want to know is why?

And what are his connections to the other dinosaur? I am hoping to see these questions answered in the next installments.

Whoever said diamonds are a girl’s best friend, got it wrong.
It turns out, bones are a girl’s best friend.
Not that kind of bone… get your mind out of the gutter.

We’d arrived at the museum, and everything was going well. Okay, fine. That’s a lie.
It had gone exactly like the rest of my life had since my dino mates had come crashing into my life… which is to say, it had been a catastrophe of prehistoric proportions. By a weird twist of fate, we’d narrowly avoided being arrested after we’d destroyed the fundraising gala and terrorized the guests.

Things didn’t go as I’d planned for the rest of the trip, either. Especially when Albert decided to slip his leash and go looking for his own little souvenir to take home….
Except, he didn’t go shopping in the museum’s gift shop.
And it wasn’t exactly a replica that he picked out.

Which really sucked, since the absolute last thing I needed was another dinosaur shifter to deal with….

Dino Magic is a light-hearted romantic comedy series with a whole lot of steam! This isn’t a save-the-world type of story, but rather it focuses on Arizona’s coming into her hidden abilities. In each book she will be tracking down a gift, or a fated mates that been left by her great-great-so-many-greats-I-can't-even-type-them-all-grandmother.

This is a paranormal series, not a serious true-to-science series. So, if you are hoping to learn about dinosaurs, this probably isn’t the read for you. If you want to giggle hard enough that the people around you think you're crazy, then this might be the book for you!

Review:

You know I honestly thought I read this one last year but when I went to check on something on these books, I saw that I had not read this one. So, I grabbed this book to help make sense of book three. I am glad I did.

Sedona continues to astound me with her dino magic novels. Each one has the right amount of sass and spice to keep her readers glued from beginning to end. It also helps that the little chapter jokes are just fun additions to the novel.

Also, can we say that it was great to see Arizona now having a bestie?? I love Suli! She is so awesome and she's perfect for being Arizona's friend. The girl needs it especially when she is surrounded by nothing but males. Don't get me wrong, it is nice to have all those delicious males, but you need a female friend in there too. *winkie wink*

The downside to this novel was toward the ending. While I love Arizona, I did not like what she did. I don't plan to spoil anything for future readers. So, I am going to just say go read this novel.

I’m a bunny shifter who has been claimed by the wolf shifters.
Things are going to get hot…or dead.

I’m determined to honor the memory of my family by respecting the rabbit shifter community’s traditions. That is right up until I’m slapped in the face with an unexpected betrayal. The Elders are offering me up on a silver platter to the five male rabbit shifters whose favorite pastime is tormenting me.

I can either be the rabbits' plaything or run from the Burrows and the only home I’ve ever known.

I’m sick and tired of being the docile bunny I was brought up to be. It is time that people learn this bunny can bite, because I’m not taking anything from anybody from now on… Not even from the wolves that are breathing down my neck.

Sure, the bunnies are under the wolves’ protection, but these guys seem to have a taste for getting me all hot and bothered. Rabbit shifters and wolves will do business together, but personal relationships just aren’t possible… Right?

And to make matters worse, my spring heat is happening. Like, now. A female rabbit can’t survive going through a heat alone, but can I trust these wolves to care for me when I’m at my most vulnerable? And what about afterwards?

These predators are going to eat me alive… and I’m looking forward to it.

Better-Off Bunny is a standalone within a series. This book contains some bullying, but not from Monroe's fated mates.

The Hey There, Hop Stuff series will feature a different bunny shifter girl and her mates within the same community. Each girl will get her happy ending. The books can be read out of order, but the community and shifter communities will make slightly more sense if you read the books in order.

Review:

Monroe has always known that the wolves that often visit the cafe were out of her league. She was destined to be paraded on television and forced to add the males chosen for her to be part of her fluffle, but when the males chosen turn out to be the ones who have tormented her entire life, Monroe wants nothing to do with them. These were the same males who tormented and mistreated her for her entire life even her complaints about them often fell on deaf ears of the Council.

Monroe has always dreamed that the wolves that often visited her in the cafe would be the ones who would help her, but that was never in the cards for her. But that was until they showed up and were determined to make her their mate. These wolves -Syrus, Cillian, and Rig - wanted her, all of her.

I loved this book. I loved the humor, the romance, and the way the wolves did everything to help Monroe go through her first heat. These were the same males determined to punish the Bunny Council and all those within the Burrow to be punished for their cruelty. They were protective and absolutely loved her. This is the type of relationship I would strive to have any day.

The only downside is the world-building. It is not fleshed out enough for a person to understand the hierarchy and how these sets of shifters came together. Yes, I know the coyote are the ones behind the threats but I still want to see more of them as well. They are in the backdown but we don't see any sort of threats nor do they get any sort of time within the book.

Final Thought:

This book feels short but it is enough to grab your attention and keep you to the very end. It is worth the read if you are into shapeshifters. I also recommend her Dinosaur shifter novels.

Sypnosis: Stalker or vampire?
The choice is yours, but if you make the wrong one…
You die.

He’s spent months watching my every move. Stalking me from the shadows, waiting for the right moment.
When he strikes, I’m not ready.
I’m surrounded by strangers, and far from anyone who might have cared, or at the very least, noticed if I suddenly disappeared.
He’s closing the distance, leaving me with a terrifying choice: take my chances with my stalker, or seek help from a monster more powerful than him. Making the wrong choice could cost me my life.
Risking it all, I throw myself at an extraordinarily handsome stranger. A stranger who just happens to be a vampire. He also happens to be the crown prince of vampires, and he’s disgusted by humans.
I haven’t even been bitten yet, and my life already sucks.
It’s too late to rethink my plan, and I’m out of options. I beg the stranger to claim he knows me.
Instead, the vampire claims me.
But my stalker isn’t ready to admit defeat, and the vampire I sought refuge with isn’t willing to let me go.
A stalker. A vampire. A choice that might end my life.

SLTL is a new series focused on Journee and her vampire mate (yes, this series has only one guy! Don’t worry, he’s drool-worthy). This story has it all: a stalker, coming into power, vampire royalty, a protective mate, humor, heat, and eventually a HEA. For my naughty readers, this book is a medium burn that’s worth the wait… and you better be ready, because once they get started, things really get spicy! Journee's vampire mate falls in love with her the moment he meets her and will do anything to protect what is his.

Review: This has to be the first book in a series of monster romances that I actually enjoyed. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the book and that I was able to devour it so quickly.

Someone is stalking Journee. He has been stalking her for some time. Often he leaves her gifts here and there but it has become unnerving when he starts to enter the place she considers her sanctuary - her apartment. Things escalate one night when he decides to torment her by actually stalking her through a crowd. As Journee tries to find a way to escape her stalker, she finds a group of vampires and although she fears them, she sees them as her saviors.

Zyon, the Crown Prince of Vampires, is surprised when a tiny female launches herself and pretends as if they have known each other forever. At first, he is confused but when he takes notice of the woman's stalker, he feels the need to protect her. But there is something about the human female that causes all sorts of emotions within him to come to the surface and realizes that she is his Irenvyth. He will do anything to protect even if it means going up against his grandmother and the Hunters to keep her.

I loved Journee and Zyon. They were fun and well-written. Journee was not really some damsel in distress. No, she was being stalked and this scared her. Any woman would be scared if they were in her shoes. I can even imagine them finding someone - anyone - to help them shake off.

Journee and Zyon are flawed. They are not perfect characters and I like that. Journee is stubborn and refuses to be treated like anything but at the same time, you can feel the fear she has when she is being stalked. She should be scared of vampires but although there is some fear of them, she also sees them as someone to save and protect her.

Zyon is possessive of his Irenvyth. He is the ideal of an alpha male but he is also the Crown Prince. His grandmother is demanding he marries to give the throne an heir and Zyon has no desire to do so. He is not even fond of humans either. But when Journee comes into his life, he finds that she is his everything and he will do anything to protect her even send her away to protect her from his grandmother. And the great thing is that he doesn't even back down from her.

The world-building looks amazing. I would love about the whole vampire/human/hunter history. I know vampires are treated like celebrities but I would love to know how and why they rose to this status. I know we get some hints but the whole thing is really interesting.

Will we see more of Nathan? Perhaps his own tale?

This book definitely has deserved its five-star rating from me and it may even become my February book of the month.

Title: Dinosaurs, Disasters & Albert Einswine

Series: Dino Magic #1

Author: Sedona Ashe

Genre: fiction: fantasy, fiction: fantasy: urban, fiction: fantasy: shapeshifter, fiction: fantasy: romance, fantasy: shapeshifter: dinosaurs, fiction: romance: reverse harem, fiction: romance: erotic

Status: Finished

Rating: 4.6/5

Sypnosis: I have huge man problems.
Literally, since one of my mates is a T-Rex.

Things are about to get interesting, because my day job happens to be in a museum.
A museum full of dinosaur bones, if you know what I mean.

It turns out my bloodline is older than dirt, and an ancestral matchmaker decided to send me some gifts…aka, men. And not just any men, but dinosaur shifters from the past.

I’ve read enough paranormal romance to know all about fated mates, but I’ve never heard of fated dinosaur mates. These men are supposed to be my perfect match, here to help me learn about my magic. Rawr. Yes, they are as sexy as you are imagining.

My life had been a routine of working and spending time watching TV with my pet pig, Albert Einswine. Now I needed to learn to control the magic I never knew I had, learn more about my family line, and help these sexy dino shifters adjust to modern society.

All while hiding a T-Rex sized secret from the world.

To make matters worse, detectives are looking into the explosion I may or may not have caused when my blood mixed with some magic-infused ancient dust, which is a serious problem since the sexy green-eyed detective has my heart flip-flopping in my chest.

Dinosaurs & Disasters is a light-hearted romantic comedy with a whole lot of steam! This isn’t a save-the-world type of story, but rather it focuses on Arizona’s coming into her hidden abilities and tracking down each of her fated mates.

Review: Okay, this was the first time I have EVER come across dinosaur shifters and I knew I had to get it. I love Jurassic Park/Jurassic World and I do enjoy shifter novels from time to time, but dinosaurs will be my first taste of something entirely different.

Also, this was my first book by Sedona Ashe and I must say her story kept me settled down on the couch until the final page was turned. I really enjoyed this book immensely. I also enjoyed the little pig named Albert Einswine. The little pig is so cute and such an adorable sidekick. I could not understand why such a sweet little thing could bring down dinosaurs to their knees. This was the first I had ever seen Apex predators.

I wish Sedona had given a reason why pigs were so scary to dinosaurs. I hope she explains that a bit to us because I don't see Albert being anything like that. Although, I do believe the little pig loves the power he wields.

The only downside was that the relationships seemed unrealistic. I would have thought that Arizona would establish her relationships with both Rez and Zon. I would like to see something more substantial made over these relationships. I don't know I just felt the relationships seemed forced and less realistic. Even with the arrival of Jack, the agent suddenly fell in love with her.

I am quite looking forward to the next book and I hope it changes my mind just a little bit on the relationships shared between them all.
