Welcome to Sinner’s Sideshow, the most obscene, blood-pumping, skin-crawling creep show this side of Hell.
As a circus brat, show biz is in my blood. And as a half-succubus, I was made for Sinner’s Sideshow—the only circus made to entertain the most depraved of monsters.
When I’m plunged into a dark world of death, darkness, and corpse-ridden carnivals, I meet them…
The demonic ringmaster. A broody hellhound shifter. And the incubi clown twins.
Suddenly, I know why I’ve felt a strong pull to the demented circus for years. I wasn’t just made for Sinner’s Sideshow. I was made for Alistair, Daemon, Riff and Raff, too.
The problem? They don’t hire half-bloods. But I’ll do anything to secure a spot in the show.
Even if it means making deals with devils, adopting an entirely different kind of sword-swallowing act, and giving my heart, body and soul to the ringmaster and his twisted circus creeps.
*Circus Creeps is an MMFMM why choose demon romance featuring dark themes and many triggers, including gore, murder, and graphic sexual content. Please check the book’s front matter for the full CW/TW list. **This book does end on a small cliffhanger.
Review:
Welcome to Sinner's Sideshow where the monsters are real.
Megaera is stubborn and has never been one who takes no for an answer. As a half-succubus and half-human, she has always tried to find her place within the human world. But when her father passes away, Meg goes searching for the circus her mother had once been part of. When she does find it, she finds monsters from all walks of life hiding within the tents. And even more a stubborn hellhound determined to get rid of her at all costs.
I recently found Ms. Pierce while seeking dark romantic novels for Halloween reads. The first book I read, Burn for Jack, had become my absolute favorite. So, I was curious to see what other books were out there and I had come across this one.
This is the first book in a duet where Meg has looked for a place to call her own and the males are determined to make her their own. We have Riff and Raf, two incubi, Daemon, a hellhound, hellbent on getting rid of Meg, and the ringmaster himself, Alistar, who cloaks the real him within his shadows. This is a delicious reverse harem that will hook you from the beginning of the book until the very last page.
Ms. Pierce does a great job of grabbing your attention to the story. Characters, storyline, and the world-building of a supernatural world become fascinating and you want more of all of these
Final Thought:
This story is fun and an enjoyable read but take note that this book may not be for everyone. There are trigger warnings that give you insight into what you will see within these pages. Still, this book is a great read and if you have not read Burn for Jack, then definitely add that book to your TBR.
