Ryder, Garrett, Kenzo, and Diesel—The Vipers.

They run this town and everyone in it. Their deals are as sordid as their business, and their reputation is enough to bring a grown man to his knees, forcing him to beg for mercy. They are not people you mess with, yet my dad did. The old man ran up a debt with them and then sold me to cover his losses.

Yes, sold me.

They own me now.

I’m theirs in every sense of the word. But I’ve never been meek and compliant. These men, they look at me with longing. Their scarred, blood-stained hands holding me tight. They want everything I am, everything I have to give, and won’t stop until they get just that. They can own my body, but they will never have my heart.

The Vipers? I’m going to make them regret the day they took me.

This girl? She bites too.

18+ Reverse Harem Romance. Warning this book contains scenes and references of abuse/assault that some readers may find triggering. Along with graphic sex scenes and violence. This is a dark book.

Review:

I have had this book on my TBR since last year always promising myself that I would get to it soon enough. Well, I finally decided to do the whole "tiger's by its toe" and this book was the one that I picked. Now I rarely, if anything, pay attention to any of the reviews because I hate having my reads tainted that I start tearing apart the littlest things.

Maybe I should have paid attention. Six hundred pages and yet not a single plotline in sight. It seemed to be there in the early stages of the story. We got to see a tiny bit of a plot but nothing that stood out and the romance - I love reverse harem tropes. In fact, they are one of my absolute favorites, but this book...well, the whole romance seemed nonexistent. It felt forced and certainly, it seemed as though there was no real build-up leading Roxy to have relations with each of the Viper boys.

This entire book was annoying and I don't believe that it should have been six hundred pages long. With no plot in sight and the whole forced relationship with the boys, there seemed to be no point in it.

I did try to skim the rest of the story but I just ended up turning off my Kindle.
