It is a slow burn why choose dark high school romance. Meaning the main character will end up with more than one love interest. As the series progresses, so will the level of darkness.

It is an 18+ series with profanity, a feisty heroine, bullying, and obsessive and possessive themes.

Review:

I love novellas especially when they bridge the story between books. They are meant to be short and should progress a story and characters further into development which would add more depth to the next book in the series. This one did nothing. Not a single thing. The characters and storyline did not progress.

I didn't see a reason for this novella. I feel like this should have been on either part of the final pages for the second book or the beginning of the next book.

I am not even sure I am going to continue this series. It has been such a disappointment.
