Book Summary: ROGUE and GAMBIT are enjoying this mission in paradise more than anyone expected, but is the actual mission getting lost in the process? When things are this sexy, does it really matter? Yes, yes, of course it does. PROBABLY. Who or what is LAVISH? And can Rogue and Gambit escape its grasp? Do they even want to
Book Review: In this issue we find Gambit and Rogue once more in couples' therapy.

Although there seems to be some progress between them during these sessions, we finally see what actually keeps them apart - trust. With their history so wide between them, Gambit and Rogue see Antarctica as the one place where their issue seems to come from the most.

They let the doctor believe that they have somehow have made a break through with their history now laid out between them and even head out holding hands but does this really settle the issues of their history? For now, it seems to have and the two of them head off to take a dip in the water.

Despite the fact that the dip was enjoyable, Gambit and Rogue still have a mission the two need to work on as well and the two begin to snoop.
And what they find is interesting but before either of them have a chance to figure out what it means, their clones begin to attack them. Of course, this is just what Gambit and Rogue need - a chance to vent out on each other and they take on the clones of each other. Unfortunately for them, they don't even a chance to enjoy their victory or catch their breaths before they are faced with something else.
Seeing Gambit and Rogue in couples' therapy is really interesting and even coming to admit what exactly has been keeping the two of them away from each other. I haven't been in the X-Universe for a very long time and I was sad to see what it was exactly that ended their relationship. I am hoping to see that this heals both of them despite the fact it is also a mission but the question remains: what does it mean for them once it ends? Will this simply be pushed to the back or will it give the two just enough of a push to try again? Now I would love to know the answer to this but we still have two more issues before we get that answer.
This issue has given justice to the relationship between Gambit and Rogue and we are given brief flashbacks about them. It is a nice touch to see how things have changed and what changed them. I am really looking forward to seeing how this continues to be fleshed out.
