Review: I picked up this set because I had seen it advertised up on TikTok and on Facebook. The premise sounded quite delicious and I thought this would be an interesting set to read in between the frustration of current reading novel. Unfortunately, I found nothing more than the lunatics running the asylum. The entire cast made me want to flip tables, bitch-slap the main leads, and set the world on fire.

I have never hated a more dramatic couple (with the exception of Edward and Bella) than these two. I could not understand why I have even bothered finishing up the entire set. I could not stand either of them. I get it - the family firm demands a blood sacrifice and you dutily go out to fill your role. Your own boyfriend finds his mate in your sister and this leaves you with him. You can't get out of it because you know you are a princess and royal duties dictate that you follow all those little rules.

Fuck that! I would have told them all to screw off and walked out. I don't care if I was disowned. All these rules were medieval and this was ridiculous. But I suppose if you want to add dramatic flair to your story, you have to throw the entire building at the main leads and make sure your readers end up hating not only one but both. I would have gladly pushed them off the two off a cliff.

Seriously, even the brother was a miserable bastard. Perhaps if you had told your family you had mated someone then maybe things might have been different but you take out your anger on your own sister and you blame her for your bullshit? Someone toss him into the nearest volcano.

Save yourself from the needless drama and bs of this book and find something else to read. This will leave you flipping tables, destroying worlds, and laughing insanely like an evil lunatic on the verge of world domination.
